Emanuel Altenburger

born in Kufstein (Austria) in 1982.   Director of Photography on commercials and documentaries for broadcasters such as Discovery Channel, ARTE, ARD, ZDF and 3sat.                       Diploma studies at film school in London, England. Art tutors include cinematographers John Ward ("The 5th Element", "From Hell", "Full Metal Jacket"), Hong Manley (BMW, Mercedes, Sony, Levi´s uvm.) and director and oscar winner Peter Capaldi.         Law studies; MA degree in Film Production (Financing, Legal)         Founder of own production company Altenburger Film & Media Production              Founder and director of the International Youth Film Festival in Tirol (2002, 2004 und 2006)                                 Musical background: Boy soprano in the chorus of the Innsbrucker Capellknaben (conductor: Prof. Howard Arman); Emanuel performed as a soprano soloist in concerts and opera performances with conductors such as Sir John Eliot Gardiner and René Jacobs; as a man´s voice: studies with opera singer Barbara Daniels;  A-Levels at the "Musikgymnasium" Innsbruck
